About Zenken AI
Zenken AI is the editorial blog of Zenken Corporation, a Tokyo-based B2B marketing and digital services company founded in 1975 and listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange (Standard Market). We write about the practical use of generative AI in everyday business — drawing on what we have learned by deploying these tools across our own organisation of more than 460 employees.
Why this blog exists
Most generative-AI coverage is written by AI researchers or by power-users in engineering teams. The audience that benefits the most — sales, accounting, legal, HR, and other non-technical roles — is rarely served. We try to fill that gap. Each article is written for a working professional who wants to use ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini to get real work done, not to keep up with the model release cycle.
Our experience
- First in Japan to deploy ChatGPT Enterprise company-wide (November 2024) — all 466 employees, across every department.
- Featured by OpenAI as a customer story: Zenken: A small sales force, amplified by ChatGPT Enterprise .
- Documented results from the rollout (calendar year 2024): roughly ¥50 million (~$330,000) in outsourcing costs avoided, 12,500 hours/month of work time saved across the company, and roughly 2× productivity measured department by department.
- Positive ROI in the first year of deployment, including license costs.
Editorial approach
Articles are written by members of Zenken's AI Promotion Division, who lead the internal rollout, training, and governance of generative AI tools across the company. Where an article describes a feature, pricing tier, or limit that changes frequently, we mark the date the information was verified and update the page when material changes ship. We do not publish AI-generated articles without human review and editing — every post on this site is shaped by someone who has personally used the tool being discussed.
A note for English readers
Some of our case studies are rooted in the Japanese business context — domestic labour costs, Japanese tax invoicing rules (the qualified-invoice system), or Japanese SaaS pricing in yen. We try to flag this on each article and, where it helps, add USD equivalents and explanations of local rules. If something is unclear, please let us know.
